Success shrugs off injury, ready to face Wolves in FA CUP semis

Super Eagles forward Isaac Success is back in training this week and is set to start for Watford in their FA Cup semi final clash against Wolverhampton Wandererson on Sunday.

Gracia dropped the hint at the pre-match conference when fielding question from journalists on the status of some of his players that have been on the sidelines.

“Success has been training alone this week, but I think he will be ready for the next game [against Wolves],” he said.

The Nigeria international who has scored four goals for Watford this season has been out of action after sustaining a knee injury against Manchester United in a premier league fixture which they lost 2-1.

He also missed his side’s 4-1 win over Fulham.

A win for Watford will see them face Manchester City who beat Brighton on Saturday to qualify for the final

33 out of 33 – is Ndidi the most important Leicester city player?

Following a new personal Premier League record after his appearance for Leicester City in their 4-1 rout of already-relegated Huddersfield Town, Wilfred Ndidi looks like the most important and consistent performer this season.

The Nigeria international was in action for 87 minutes against Huddersfield, taking his total game time this season to 2,935 minutes, which is his best in a single season since his arrival in the Premier League from Racing Genk in January 2017.

Ndidi’s previous best was set in the 2017-2018 season when he logged 2,899 minutes across 33 games before he sustained a hamstring injury that kept him out for the rest of the campaign.

Should Ndidi be involved in Leicester City’s next league match against Newcastle United, he would have played a record amount of games in a single season, 34.

The Super Eagles midfield enforcer is also in contention to beat his personal best in terms of goals (2) which he first set in his debut season in England and has equaled this term.

With over 80 premier League appearance, Ndidi has started all but one game for the foxes.

As such, Do you think Ndidi is the most important player at the Kings power Stadium?
