‘Strongest Footballer’ Adebayo Akinfenwa Features Eberechi Eze On Beast Mode Podcast

Nigerian-born former striker, Adebayo Akinfenwa (aka The World’s Strongest Footballer) has enacted an emotional show of ancestral affinity, as he featured fast-growing midfielder, Eberechi Eze on his vastly popular ‘Beast Mode Podcast,’ Sports247 reports.

Akinfenwa (The Beast), who won several virtual awards under the tag of ‘World Strongest Footballer’ during his active playing days, looked towards a fellow-Nigerian lad and took Eze up on topical issues affecting the youngster’s fresh days at Arsenal of England.

Eze has made a quick impact at Arsenal since his £67.5m summer arrival at The Gunners from fellow-London-based EPL rivals, Crystal Palace, with the switch happening after he snubbed their ‘biggest enemy’ in the British capital, Tottenham Hotspur.

He has already become a fan favourite at Emirates Stadium, having scored two goals and gained three assists in his first 15 appearances across all competitions, then hit home a sizzler while in action for England this past weekend.

Eze, who shot to limelight during his days together with Akinfenwa at Queens Park Rangers, from where he moved to Palace and then joined Arsenal this past summer, did not disappoint his host, as the new whiz-kid gave the ex-striker a full dose of exclusive information and personal secrets.

Amongst the personal matters Eze spilled on ‘Beast Mode Podcast’ with Akinfenwa included his admiration for The Gunners’ manager, Mikel Arteta, who the rising star referred to as a ‘relentless and focused coach.’

While looking forward to another impactful outing with The Gunners on Sunday, as they return to action following the international break, Eze also noted that his next game is a tough home London derby against Spurs.

He, however, enthused that it is a high mountain that he and his Arsenal teammates will be able to scale, especially with the squad’s rare bonding values and the presence of Arteta on their bench.

Eze retorted: “If I use words to try and describe the feeling, it’s not doing justice to it. (Arteta) is incredible.

“(He gives) attention to detail, (checks) how much I’m learning so fast, the type of player that I can see (and what) I will become in this environment. (All) in the culture that he’s created.

“It’s a special place to be right now, for sure. He’s a special, special guy You can see that he is driven, focused and relentless every day. He knows what it takes.”
