Squash Federation of Nigeria (SFN) president, Boye Oyerinde has lauded organizers of the just concluded National U-16 Squash Championship, because it produced many new talents for the sport.
Oyerinde said in an interview with sports247.ng that the recent competition must be praised by all stakeholders and the organisers should be applauded for a job well done.
He enthused that the squash sanctioning body in the country now has a clearer picture of the way forward for the sport and the nature of talents at their disposal for the immediate future.
Oyerinde added: “The competition has given us at the squash federation a picture of the level of the youth game and quality of talents available in that category.
“The competition was also very revealing, as it showed us that there has been a notable growth in the game at the junior level.”
