Springsoca United Set For Open Football Trials In Lagos

Over 100 players who are below 19 years old are expected to take part in the open trials of Springsoca United which scheduled to hold on 1 February at Digital Bridge Institute playground, CAPPA, Oshodi, Lagos.

Director of the club, Oladapo Emmanuel in a statement made available to Sports247 said the management has concluded all arrangements to hold one day trials in Lagos but noted that the trials would attract the sum of N5, 000 for any player to participate in the one-day trials.

“We are coming up with our trial that is special to other clubs. Our trial is not for all players but only players who show commitment through their resources are eligible to feature in our trials,” he said.

Emmanuel said the trial has many benefits for players who are interested in one day programme noted that any player being selected would feature for the club in international football competitions and scholarship opportunity.

“Any player that meets our requirements would involve in our scouting programmes, they would also feature in our league campaign. Also, the team is preparing for several competitions abroad in which our players would involve. Aside from this, more benefits would be extended to the selected players from the trials,” he said.

Meanwhile, Springsoca United founded in 2015 has maintained a decent standard in the organization. The club has a soccer school and female team which Folashade Ijamilusi who is currently playing for Lagos-based premier club, FC Robo Queens is a product.
