Sporting Lagos Shifts Focus to League After Lagos FA Cup Exit

Following their 2-0 defeat to Inter Lagos in the Lagos State FA Cup semi-final, Sporting Lagos coach Paul Offor has redirected his team’s attention to their upcoming league fixture.

With Sporting Lagos unable to secure a spot in the FA Cup final, Offor expressed his determination to bounce back in the league. “We turn our focus on the league. We have a lot of points to play for in the league. We’ll move our attention to the league and make sure we finish as strong as possible,” Offor stated.

Looking ahead to their next league encounter against Lobi Stars at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Offor exuded confidence in his team’s ability to secure a victory. “By expecting Lobi here, we know their pattern of play with a lot of physical wingers but I know that we’ll have the sport to be able to take the three points at home,” he affirmed.

Highlighting the significance of their home ground, Offor emphasized the importance of maintaining their strong performance at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena. “This place is a fortress for us and we’ll continue to work out to ensure that we take all the possible points at home and also fight for away points,” he concluded.
