Sporting FC Wonder Kid Kobiro Okotie Signs For Armenia Premier League Side FC Urartu

Sporting FC Starboy Kobiro Okotie has signed a professional contract with an Armenian premier league side FC Urartu.

He was part of the team that won Channels kids cup in 2013, and thereafter, went for a training tour in South Africa.

He also won the sports festival tournament with his team in the same 2013.

He is a graduate of the Edema football academy, who was later transferred to Sporting FC Warri. He was tutored by the great coach Edema and coach Atune Jolomi.

Kobiro was a delight to watch in the 2018 Delta State FA Cup donning Sporting FC Warri Jersey number 14. Which earned him standing ovation and commendation as a young boy from the DFA secretary Azuka Ogosi.

In 2018, he scored 3 goals in all 5 games played in the NLO 2 with Sporting FC Warri.

In preparation for the 2019 Nationwide league, Kobiro was very impressive in all pre-season games he played, scoring wonderful goals with his great dribbling skills and fast pace attacking football, the talented attacking midfielder had the only Hat trick in the 2019 NLO 2 games at the Samson Siasia Stadium in Bayelsa which earned him a verbal commendation from the NLO COO Mr Sola Ogunowo.

Jesukobiro Okotie won the Sporting FC Warri player of the season in 2019 before his trip to Armenia.

Congratulations to Sporting FC Warri, Edema football Academy and Ojo Paul Omamomo for giving this young talented Nigerian an opportunity to showcase his talents in Europe.
