Special Edition Of NFF/NLO/Berackiah Football Grassroots Coaching Clinic Ends In Port Harcourt

The Special Edition of the NFF/NLO/Berackiah Football Grassroots Coaching Clinic has successfully ended in Port Harcourt after a short closing ceremony at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium on Friday 11th March, 2022.

The training programme which is organized by Berackiah International in collaboration with the Nationwide League One (NLO) and the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is in it’s second edition.

A total of thirty four participants took part in the program which begun last Monday 7th March, 2022 lasted for 4 days.

Dignitaries present at the closing ceremony included Sir Honour Sirawoo who is the Permanent Secretary in the Rivers State Ministry of Sports and President of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), who was the special guest, Coach Stanley Eguma, Chairman Rivers State Football Coaches Association, Instructor Ere Dokubo, Mr Wonder Nwigwe CEO Berackiah International, Mr Benjamin Akubor, RSFA, Mr Nwokimo the Secretary Referee’s council Rivers state who represented the chairman.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, the special guest of honour, Sir Honour Sirawoo urged the participants to see this as the beginning and aspire to the highest level in their chosen career. While encouraging the participants to remain hardworking, Sir Sirawoo charged them to rise up to the challenge of coaching the National teams.

In a short welcome remark by the Chairman Rivers State Football Coaches Association, Coach Stanley Eguma said the future of football and the upbringing of the younger generation of footballers depended so much on the participants and encouraged them not to disappoint in their work in this direction. He also reserved some words of commendation for the instructors saying they had taken the participants through with patience and dedication.

A participant by name Oyebuchi Emoka Junior who served as the class captain during the training said the course was timely as he has an aim of pursuing coaching to the highest level. He was also full of praises for the organisers, instructors and his fellow course mates.

The coaching clinic ended with presentation of certificates to participants and a photo session with the instructors and invited guests.
