South Korea’s Head Coach, Kim Eun-joong, Sends Message To Flying Eagles

The quarterfinal match of the FIFA U-20 World Cup tournament will see the Flying Eagles of Nigeria facing South Korea. Head coach Kim Eun-joong of the South Korea Under-20 team has praised Nigeria’s preparedness and expressed his team’s determination to diligently prepare for the upcoming clash.

After their hard-fought 3-2 victory against Ecuador, the Koreans have been drawn to face
Ladan Bosso’s boys in the quarterfinals.

Coach Eun-joong watched Nigeria’s U-20 team in action against tournament hosts Argentina and expressed confidence in delivering a good result for his nation, which is the only Asian country remaining in the competition.

Nigeria’s Flying Eagles surprised the football community with a historic 2-0 triumph over
six-time World Cup champions Argentina at the La Plata Stadium.

Coach Eun-joong revealed that he closely watched the match and assured that his team
would thoroughly analyze it before their  clash with Nigeria. He praised Nigeria’s well-prepared players, highlighting their physical prowess and flexibility, and stated that his team would do a proper analysis of their opponent.

While seeking the support of all Asians, Coach Eun-joong emphasized the importance of
maintaining Korean pride as  the only Asian team left in the tournament. He promised to prepare his team well for the match against Nigeria and expressed a sense of responsibility and pride as an Asian representative.

The clash between Nigeria and South Korea is scheduled to take place at the Estadio Único Madre de Ciudades in Santiago del Estero on Sunday evening.

The winner of this match will advance to face either Italy or Colombia for a spot in the final
