Team Sokoto are the champion of the Male Handball Event of the National Youth Games after defeating Lagos to win gold in Ilorin.

Niger got the bronze in the male category after a comfortable 30-15 win over Team Rivers.
In the female category, Team Delta took gold, Sokoto got the silver medal while Lagos settled for the Bronze.
