Sodiq Umar, The Future Of Super Eagles…Outstanding Striker Continues His Amazing Goalscoring Form As His Team Thrashes Alaves 5-0 In Spanish Copa Del Rey

Former Nigerian U23 team player, Sadiq Umar continued his impressive goalscoring form in the campaign by scoring twice, as his team Almeria thrashed Fc Alaves 5-0 in the Copa Del Rey to advance to the next stage of the competition.

The Outstanding Striker who has been in great form for his team scored a brace in the game, both in the first half of the encounter to help his side thrash the LA LIGA outfit and qualify for the next stage of the competition.

Sadiq Umar put Almeria in the Lead as early as the 8th minute of the game, through an assist from Corpas, after which Pina was given a straight red card for Alaves by the referee after a very poor challenge on an Almeria player to change the dynamics of the game. Aketxe doubled Almeria’s lead in the 45th minute, with Corpas getting another assist and Sodiq Umar once more registering his score and Almeria’s third right at the stroke of halftime to make it 3-0 to the home side at halftime.

In the second half, Almeria continued their goalscoring abilities by scoring two more goals, courtesy of an own goal from Battaglia, and a penalty from Villar to complete a 5-0 rout against the Spanish LA LIGA outfit.

The main talking point of the game was Sadiq Umar who continues his impressive goalscoring form of the season.
With his two goals today, he has now scored 11 goals for his team this season.

Many have been calling for Gernot Rohr to invite the Kaduna born striker who is painting the Spanish League currently with his incredible form of scoring goals, most especially as Victor Osimhen remains Nigeria’s only reliable striker.

He is indeed the rave of the moment in the Spanish League and a delight to watch, as he aims to help his team, Almeria gain promotion to the Spanish LA LIGA.

The former Nigerian Dream Team Player who won the bronze medal with Nigeria at the 2008 Olympic Games has shown that he is indeed a potent and reliable striker, as he has done it in Scotland, Serbia, Italy and now in Spain.

This young Lad popularly called ‘Jololo’ by his teammates is definitely knocking on the door of the Super Eagles attacking position with his amazing goalscoring form.

The question will continue to arise amongst Nigerian Football fans, Football Enthusiasm, and lovers of Sadiq Umah when this young bright attacker will get his chance in Gernot Rohr’s team.
