Sports247 reports that, while ‘KSI’’ previously declared that he had quit boxing and would concentrate only on providing social media content, he appears to have gone back on his word with his latest declaration.
A major snag in his latest outburst, though, is that Costa has never engaged in any boxing bout during his chequered football career, though he is known for explosive reactions during matches.
However, in what appears to be a cynical effort to convince the Brazil-born Spanish former international to accept his challenge, ‘KSI’ went on to label Costa a ‘terrible player,’ who cannot get anything right.
KSI, who is a co-founding member of The Sidemen’s YouTube group, co-founder of Misfits Boxing and co-owner of several mainstream businesses, came up against Costa on Friday during the charity Match For Hope in Qatar.
In the aftermath of the high-profile exhibition football match, ‘KSI’ boasted that he play better and recalled how he scored an own goal in last year’s game, but still came out victorious.
KSI declared: “I think Diego Costa is a terrible player, I don’t think he’s good at all. What has he done? I can fight as well. KSI vs Diego Costa I’m here for it!”
