Smart City Curator Salutes King’s Cup Tourney Organizers…Advices Patience, Discipline, Focus To Young Budding Grassroots Talents

The Team Curator of the King’s Cup tourney winner, Taiwo Adewunmi Samuel who led Smart City to the finals of the scouting program and running out eventual winners following their penalty shoot-out victory against 36 Lion FA has lauded the organizers of the event as he enjoins dedication, commitment, and discipline to budding young players.

Speaking exclusively to sports247.ng, Adewunmi stated that being rude to officials or other players is nothing worthwhile, one has to be disciplined if they want to go far in their career and in life.

Having joined up with the team not less than a month, he said, “I’ve been here now up to a month, in charge of the players and making sure they put up a good performance on the pitch, and ever since I joined the team, it’s been a good story to write home about.”

“This tournament has been excellently organized, young talented players, showing their skills, and am glad my team made the headway.”

“My sole advice to these players is that they need to be very patient, disciplined, and focused so that they can move forward, one of my players was red-carded and when he got back to the camp, the boss spoke to him like a kid and told him frantically that he has nowhere to go except that he change his attitude.”

“These virtues need to be imbibed by this growing set of young talents we have if they truly want to make headway in their life’s journey,” he cautioned.
