‘Simy’ Lokeren Transfer Stirs Up Controversy

Controversy has erupted in the reported transfer of Simeon Tochukwu Nwankwo (Simy) to SK Lokeren of Belgium, as counter-claims are soaring over the deal that takes him away from Crotone of Italy.

Sports247.ng can report that the issue is bound to stir up several fishy and ugly dimensions in the coming days, as talking points round the deal come from various angles involving the player, agents and the two clubs.

However, while Simy and the agent that took him to Crotone, Stephen Ayodele Makinwa, are yet to make any official comment on the matter, a players’ representative is already crying foul over the purported deal.

The latest angle to the unfolding drama comes from one Chinedu Amadi, who claims to be the agent of Simy, and denied a deal with Lokeren.

“The news about Lokeren is not true, I represent the player and should be in the right place to say if he has moved or not.

“Simy remains a player of Crotone for now and nothing has been decided yet on his next move,” Amadi stated.
