Nigerian international Moses Simon delivered an impressive performance, providing an assist as Paris FC secured a commanding 4-1 home victory over AS Monaco at the Stade Sébastien Charléty.
Simon, who featured for 87 minutes before being replaced by Willem Geubbels, played a key role in the early stages of the game.
His creativity paid off in the 8th minute when he set up Jonathan Ikoné to open the scoring, giving the hosts a perfect start.
Paris FC doubled their advantage in the 21st minute through Ciro Immobile, who converted from an assist by Marshall Munetsi.
The attacking momentum continued as Ikoné grabbed his second goal in the 36th minute, this time assisted by Immobile, to make it 3-0 before halftime.
Monaco attempted a response in the second half, with Folarin Balogun pulling one back after linking up with Amine Bamba.
However, any hopes of a comeback were quickly extinguished when Luca Koleosho netted the fourth goal to seal a comprehensive victory for the home side.
Simon’s influence in attack once again highlighted his importance, as his vision and delivery helped set the tone for a dominant team performance.
The result marks a significant win for Paris FC as they continue their push in the league.
