Former Chelsea captain William Gallas has issued a passionate rallying cry to his old club: bring Victor Osimhen to Stamford Bridge—immediately.
In a rousing endorsement of the Nigerian striker, Gallas declared, “I would be signing Osimhen, all day long, every day, twice on Sunday!”

Speaking about Chelsea’s attacking struggles and the need for a clinical finisher, Gallas made it clear that Osimhen is the ideal candidate to lead the Blues’ frontline.
“I know what he can do, I know what he can bring to the Chelsea squad,” Gallas said.
“He’d be perfect for the wingers there, because they aren’t the kind that just send in crosses.
They come inside and shoot, or look for a pass. Osimhen would thrive off that.”
The 25-year-old Napoli striker has emerged as one of Europe’s most lethal forwards, firing Napoli to their first Serie A title in 33 years with 26 goals in 32 games.
His explosive pace, physicality, and ruthless finishing have drawn comparisons to Chelsea legend Didier Drogba—parallels Gallas himself highlighted.
“He’s similar to Didier,” he said. “But even quicker. He’ll do real damage in the Premier League.”
With Chelsea still struggling for consistency and goals under their latest rebuild, Osimhen’s name is increasingly linked with a summer move.
However, Gallas warned that one signing alone won’t solve all the club’s issues: “He can bring Chelsea to the next level, but he won’t fix everything. The whole squad needs to step up.”
Whether the Chelsea board listens to Gallas remains to be seen.
But one thing is certain: if the Blues want to regain their bite up front, Osimhen might just be the predator they’ve been missing.
