Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) are on the verge of completing the signing of experienced goalkeeper Adewale Adeyinka from Plateau United, according to multiple sources close to the deal.
The former Kwara United shot-stopper is said to be eager to join the Oluyole Warriors ahead of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season, which is set to kick off on August 22.

Several sources reveal Super Eagles goalkeeper Ojo Olorunleke might be the best choice for the Oluyole Warriors with the reliable goalkeeper having already expressed his interest in the move.
3SC head coach Nurudeen Aweroro is reportedly in search of goalkeeping reinforcements following Mustapha Lawal’s unavailability due to his commitment with Nigeria’s CHAN team.
Adewale Adeyinka is understood to have verbally agreed to personal terms and is expected to put pen to paper on a deal with Shooting Stars in the coming week.
Ojo Olorunleke has been clubless since leaving Sudanese outfit Al-Merriekh earlier in the year. The 29-year-old is now looking to revive his career by pitching tent wit Oluyole Warriors.
The shot stopper is a popular figure in the Nigerian top-flight, which is featured for top clubs like Kano Pillars, Akwa United, Sunshine Stars, Abia Warriors, and Enyimba in the past.
Olorunleke won the NPFL title with Enyimba in the 2022/23 season. He was part of the Super Eagles squad to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.
