The confirmation, jointly communicated by the Nigeria Football Federation and the Nigeria Premier Football League, ends weeks of uncertainty for the Ibadan-based side and their supporters.
Nicknamed the Oluyole Warriors, Shooting Stars had temporarily relocated their home fixtures to the M.K.O Abiola Sports Complex in Abeokuta. During that period, they secured an emphatic 4-2 victory over Warri Wolves before embarking on a trip to Jos for their subsequent league fixture.
Now back in familiar territory, the Oluyole Warriors are set to host Kano Pillars this Sunday in what promises to be a crucial home encounter. The return to Ibadan is expected to provide a significant morale boost, with fans eager to fill the stands once again.
For Shooting Stars, the homecoming represents more than just a venue change — it signals renewed momentum as they look to consolidate their position in the league standings.
