Senior Special Assistant To Lagos State Governor On Sports Confident Nigeria’s Future Is Safe With Growing, Young Talented Players

Adeboye Anthony Adeyinka, senior special assistant to the Governor of Lagos State on sports has revealed that he has no worry over the future of Nigeria with young talented players coming up the stage.

Speaking exclusively to sports247.ng at the just concluded King’s Cup tourney yesterday, he stated, “We have seen a very lovely tournament, we have the best young talented player so far in this competition, all the teams played excellently well and it shows that they have a brighter future to represent our dear country in any international competition.”

“So far so good, we’ve seen an academy team playing far better than Nigerian League teams. It is not by mouth, football is being played by young talented players, this competition has shown a lot of players that have a very good future. These players have it in mind that this is their career.”

“They have shown the world that it is not old men that play football but young boys, they have shown their skills and what they can offer to the country.”

“We have also seen administrators of high repute in this tourney, 36 Lion Alhaji Gafar, chairman of Box To Box, G12, and others. They love football and have passion, they have groups of great players in this competition.”
