The second edition of the Dela North Football Coaches Tournament has been fixed to kick off on October 29th. This was announced by the Chairman of the Coaching Council Emeka Okwutu on Wednesday following the draw held at the Squash club, GRA Asaba
24 Teams from the 6 zones in the Region registered for the tournament which has been christened ANIOMA NATIONS CUP
Defending Champions Big Daddy FC of agbor was drawn in to play in the Agbor zone against Winners FC, Ihuyase and Agbor United.
According to the fixtures released by the Secretary of the Delta North Football Coaches Council Coach Achugbue Whyte
Six Zones have been picked for the First round with 2 teams from each zone and the best Losers to qualify for the round of 16.
Other zones include ASABA, Ogwashi Uku and Kwale.
“We want to make this tournament more exciting and to reach out to the various communities in Delta North hence we are taking the games to the various zones” Chairman Emeka Okwutu said while addressing the coaches at the meeting.
