Days after visiting the Ikate kingdom, Super Falcons captain, Asisat Oshoala paid another courtesy visit to the governor of Lagos State, Jide Sanwo-Olu on Saturday.
With no national team duty, the Barcelona women FC star looks to be using the time to visit important dignitaries.
In the visit to the governor, Oshoala presented him with a Barcelona jersey and a ball which was later played by both.
The governor after the visit tweeted that the state is proud of Oshoala.
“Today, Asisat paid me a courtesy visit. She is a worthy ambassador of Lagos from Ikorodu & we are proud of her. She spoke about her plans for the Asisat Oshoala Foundation and I promised to support her.”
Oshoala who is the reigning African Women’s footballer of the year has been a regular for Spanish giants, Barcelona Women FC.
