The SAFA boss on Sunday through it’s acting Chief Executive officer Russell Paul extended the greetings of SAFA to the newly crowned Africa womy champions.

The NFF through it’s General Secretary Mohammed Sanusi thanked SAFA for being a true sporting Federation on the African soil. The letter reads. “This is to acknowledge your letter in which you congratulated the NFF on the victory of the Super Falcons at the 11th Women Africa Cup of Nations finals in Ghana in which they played an entertaining game with the Bayana Bayana of South Africa.

I must state for a fact that the Bayana played a very good game in the character of their output in the entire tournament and are deserving of the ticket to represent Africa at the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France alongside Nigeria and Cameroon.

The Bayana proved a hard but to crack forthe Super Falcons and the match could have gone either way.”

The Super Falcons will be joined by Bayana Bayana of South Africa and the indomitable Lioness of Cameroon at the World Cup showdown in France.
