Sabina Chikere Believes Edo Queens Will Become “One Of The Biggest Clubs” In The World

The Senior Special Adviser on Sports to the Edo State Deputy Governor, Mrs Sabina Chikere says NWFL Premiership side, Edo Queens is fast becoming a team to reckon with in Nigeria and will soon become one of the biggest clubs in the world.

Chikere made this known while reacting to questions asked by journalists on one of the foremost Nigeria Sports Forum, Family United by Football (FUBF) on Friday evening.

The hardworking and innovative Sports administrator claims that the Edo State owned women football team, Edo Queens has the potential and dream to win silverwares serially in the nearest future and thus truly become one of the best in Nigeria and beyond.

” Its no secret that we are working towards perfection at Edo Queens.” We aim for greatness and achieving something the club has never achieved before. She told FUBF.

” Our aim is to make Edo Queens a model to other clubs in Nigeria and beyond and this has to do with the way we position the club at that level and we are glad that most clubs in Nigeria and Africa are beginning to see Edo Queens as an example of how a club should be managed.

” Success comes with a lot of price and we are working just for that. We want to become the best among all and create a lot of records and memories.

” We shall remain consistent and prove our worths with all modesty. We have very good players and a one of the best technical crew around. We are optimistic on achieving our goals and we won’t relent, because it’s a long term project.

” We have to work hard to achieve all these, we have to work well together and take this step by step.” She concluded.

The meticulous and efficient Finance and Human Resources Manager has turned around the fortunes of both Bendel Insurance and Edo Queens since coming in as Senior Special Adviser to the Deputy Governor on Sports, as she has been able to instill discipline, stability and restore hope to the two Edo Football Clubs.
