ROLLY FC DONATIONS FOOD ITEMS TO SOME NOTABLE AGENCIES IN THE STATE TO CUSHION THE ECONOMIC IMPACT OF COVID 19

Amongst the relevant bodies which received the food items donated by Rolly Stars Football Club (RSFC) include Members of Edo State Football Referee Council, Members of EDPA Estate Ugbowo Police Station, S&T Barracks, Isihor, Benin, and Coaches and Management Staff of the Rolly FC.

The chairman of the club, Mr Roland Inonojie who, in his sagacity, deemed it imperative to support the selected agencies as a way of both encouraging and acknowledging their importance in times like this.

The Club Media Officer and Marketing Director, Mr Fred Newton Erhunmwunse, stated that
The Club has always been committed to supporting its memebers, as well as the community. He further stated that the players, Coaches and management Staff of the football club are set to play *their trade* in the Nation-wide Division One League as soon as football activities officially kick off.

Responding on behalf of Edo State Referee Association, the Chairman, Mr Johnbull Okundolor, upon receiving the food items, thanked the Chairman of Rolly FC for identifying with the Edo State Men of the Whistle at this time of dire need; especially when all the Referees are locked down in their various homes -without any football engagements.
He further mentioned that the food items donation
is the first palliative received by the Edo State football Referees council since the Lockdown order by the Edo State Government.

In his part, DPO,CSP.Salidu Tafida of EDPA Estate Police Station, thanked the Chairman and management of Rolly FC for the timely humanitarian support given to the Estate Police Command at this time.

On behalf of the S&T Barracks, Command officer, Major Okeke Mathias, lauded the Chairman and Management of the club for the Donations; and promised the readiness of the Command to ensuring the smoothness of League Matches on her fields of play. He thereby advised the general public to keep to all government directives on Social Distancing, hand washing and compulsory use of face masks as measures to containing the virus.

The Club Secretary, Mr Kenneth Ugbodaga on behalf of the management team, prayed and thanked the chairman for the show of love by way of the donations which was received at the club Secretariat after the tour.
