The coach and players of Rocket FC of Ihioma in Orlu, have stepped up their training routines at Central School ahead of a busy grassroots football programme in Imo State, Sports247 reports.

The players of various age categories, ranging from under-10 to under-17 and senior levels, continue intensifying their activities with zeal and rapt attention, while listening to instructions from their dutiful coach.
One of the players, Sixtus Chinemerem Afoaku told Sports247 that he and his teammates want to ensure they win all matches and competitions that they engage in this year.
The right full-back defender, who is an SS2 science student at Township Comprehensive Secondary School, Amaifeke (TCSSA), added: “We are training three times a week because we want to be ready for all our forthcoming activities.
“Our coach is doing his best to teach us the best tactics, techniques and strategies, which I believe will help us win our matches when we start playing them later this month.”
The youngster, who also keeps himself busy as a social media content provider after school hours, thanked their coach for all his efforts in grooming young talents in the community.
“Our coach is doing a wonderful job for us. He trains us every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. We call him ‘Coach Eupraim,’ and I like the way he is training us,” Afoaku enthused.
