The quarter-final clash, held at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City, ended 1-1 in regulation time before the Jewels of Rivers held their nerve to win 3-1 on penalties.

In another quarter-final showdown, Nasarawa Amazons delivered a ruthless performance, thrashing Sunshine Queens 4-0 to underline their title credentials and book a place in the last four.
Ibom Angels also advanced to the semi-finals in dramatic fashion, overcoming Heartland Queens 4-3 on penalties after both sides finished 1-1 at the end of regulation time.
Defending NWFL champions, Edo Queens, narrowly escaped an upset against giant-killers Unification Ladies.
A late penalty from Goodness Osigwe was all Edo needed to clinch a 1-0 win and keep their dream of back-to-back titles alive.
