An up-and-coming female football prospect at CATS Ladies FC of Lagos, Rihannat Olojo has disclosed that her mum is the major person currently contributing to her progress in the round leather game.
Rihannat disclosed this during a highly revealing chat with Sports247 after helping her school win a mini competition at the maiden Goals For Girls Leadership Summit in Surulere, Lagos.

The lanky fair-skinned SS1 student captained the ambitious squad of Community Secondary School to upset the odds against Iponri Estate High School and emerge champions on Day 1 of the programme at The Stable Sports Complex, Bode Thomas Road.
In the aftermath of her school team’s success, Rihannat added that she is equally inspired by the success story of former Super Falcons’ captain, Asisat Oshoala; then confessed that she wants to achieve even more.
Rihannat retorted, “I like the way Oshoala plays and how she scores. Although I play as a defensive midfielder, I believe I can achieve more than Oshoala has done.
“I want to succeed in football, so that I can show appreciation to my mum. She is the one who is currently supporting me in everything that I need for my football to grow.
“She encourages me and she always gives me money for transport to training. She does not disturb me and even sets alarm to wake me up when it’s time for training.”
