RETURN BAYELSA UNITED TO THE PREMIERSHIP – SINGABELE TELLS STAKEHOLDERS

Bet9ja Nigeria National League side, Bayelsa United have been adjuged to have stayed more than enough in the second tier League and a member Confederation of African Football, CAF, medical Committee, Dr Peter Singabele has called on stakeholders in Bayelsa State to ensure that Bayelsa United return to the Nigeria Professional Football League NPFL at the end of the forthcoming season, sports247.ng reports.

The results recorded at the 2017/ 2018 of the Most Important League was horrible and aweful to achieve anything and such would have even relegated the team to the amateur cadre.

CAF Committee member who was visibily impressed with the performance of the team in the pre season tournament made the call in Yenagoa while addressing journalists shortly after Bayelsa United triumphed in the just concluded pre- season four -team invitational tournament.

Singabele said the focus is to make the team return to the elite division and anything the government and the good people of the state would do to ensure this heights should be vehemently evolved

He also assured the fans to expect a better season, stressing that the pre- season has shown what fans should be expecting when the NNL, League season commences.
