The 5-aside annual Ramadan football competition sponsored by Nigerian Professional footballer, Austin Iwuji Amutu, who currently plays for Al-Misry of Egypt has been kick-started on Thursday, 17th Ramadan 1442, equivalent to 29 May 2021 at the Magistrate court football pitch kasuwan Nama Jos.
The opening match was so colorful and Glamoured with the attendance of community leaders, media practitioners, security personnel, and lots of football lovers in and around the city of Jos.
The essence of the competition is to engage and promote social cohesion amongst youths from different parts of Muslim & Christian Communities in the Jos North Local Government area of Plateau State particularly in this Holy month of Ramadan.
