Remo Stars out to dim Lamry United in NNL opener

Remo Stars Football Club (RSFC) will commence their 2019-20 Nigeria National League (NNL) season when they welcome Lamry United FC of Enugu to the Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu in Match day one fixture on Sunday, 24th of November 2019 by 4pm.

The Sky Blue Stars dropped to the lower division after failing to maintain their Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) status and will push to return to where they belong at the set goal.

Few months back, Daniel Ogunmodede was upgraded to the post of the Head Coach of the team after replacing out of contract, Kennedy Boboye and will be assisted by Olayinka Sokabi, Babatunde Adeniyi and Dahiru Ilu.

This is also a fresh start for the Sky Blue Stars as ninety-nine point nine percent (99. 9%) of the squad are relatively new to the club, the remaining zero point one percent (0. 1%) were part of the squad that returned the team to the top tier two seasons ago.

Ogunmodede’s wards are poised to excel in the NNL for obvious reasons, and the first game against the Enugu based side will speak volume as the league commences on Sunday in front of the supporters of the Sky Blue Stars in Sagamu, Ogun State.

Lamray United FC are still looking fresh in the Nigeria National League (NNL) making their debut in the 2018-19 season, they have more experienced players than the Sky Blue Stars this season, and they hope it counts for them in few days when they travel from the East to the South.

Both sides will face each other for the first time in all competitions, a win for the Sky Blue Stars with give Daniel Ogunmodede side his first win as the Head Coach of Remo Stars FC in the Nigeria National League (NNL).
