Rasheedat Ajibade Looks Forward To ‘Amazing Season With PSG’s Promising Brand’

Nigeria’s female national team, Super Falcons’ captain, Rasheedat Ajibade has disclosed that she is looking forward to having an amazing first season at her new club, Paris Saint-Germain Ladies of France, Sports247 reports.

After signing the dotted lines on a deal that is set to run until 2027, Ajibade said she is excited to join such a place of values and promising brand like the one PSG offers.

The former FC Robo Queens of Lagos and Atletico Madrid Femenino of Spain winger disclosed, “I’m so excited, and I’ve been looking up to God to make this happen. That’s why I’m so excited and I’m looking forward to the season.

“It’s a new challenge coming into this kind of a prestigious club, with its amazing talents, amazing players, and amazing fans.”

‘The Lady With Blue Hair’ went on to reveal a multiple line of benefits she expects to gain in being a player of PSG, which she described further as a very unique brand.

Ajibade declared, “I’ve got an opportunity to grow as a player and a person, with a lot to learn. I believe this is a place for me to evolve and learn as well as build the best version of me.

“PSG is a very unique brand and very promising. It’s a team I’ve thought about from a very good distance, and I’ve followed them a lot from the men’s game as well as the women.”

As she gets set to line out alongside fellow Falcons’ midfielder, Jennifer Echegini in the Feminine Ligue Un, Ajibade added that she believes PSG is a good place to be, considering its immense values and status in the scheme of European football.

‘Rash,’ who is a born again Christian, despite having a Muslim name, concluded, “It’s a place where I’ve seen players evolve, do great things, and they’ve been competing well.

“Looking at the history of the club, looking at the values and the mission of the club, I think it’s a very good place to be. I think it’s a place for a lot of young players to grow and evolve as well. It’s a very good brand.”
