Rasheed Akanbi Signs Two-year Deal With Boluspor 

Nigerian forward Rasheed Akanbi has officially signed a two-year contract with Turkish TFF First League side Boluspor.

The versatile 25-year-old attacker, who can play as a striker or winger, began his professional career with Menemenspor in 2020, later featuring for Kocaelispor, before moving to Sheriff Tiraspol in Moldova.

At Sheriff, Akanbi gained valuable experience, featuring in the UEFA Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League.

He now returns to Turkey ahead of the 2025/26 season, bringing a wealth of international and European competition experience to Boluspor’s attack.

Speaking after his unveiling, Akanbi said: “I’m excited to be back in Turkey and proud to join a club with great ambition like Boluspor. I’ve grown a lot in the last few seasons and I’m ready to give everything to help the team fight for promotion.”
