Rangers Will Win Second Leg In Ethiopia – Aguda

Rangers International of Enugu striker, Godwin Aguda says he is happy that he scored both goals for the club in Wednesday’s CAF Confederation Cup first leg match against Defence Force SC of Ethiopia, and predicted that his side will also win the reverse fixture.

Aguda said The Flying Antelopes are relaxed, following their 2-0 win at Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu and, though some critics question why they relied on penalties to score both goals, the youngster says it is all part of the game.

The Ajegunle, Lagos-brought up stated further that he was happy that he scored both penalties that helped his side beat the Ethiopia in the Coal City, because he believes it is not easy to score twice from the spot.

Aguda stressed that the most important thing is that his side was able to win without conceding a goal at home, which makes the second leg in Addis Ababa easier for them.

He stated: “I am happy that we won at home and that I scored both the goals with two penalties to give us the victory.

“Now that we won 2-0 at home, I am confident Rangers will make the lead count when we travel away for the second leg next week.”
