Rangers Seeks Deeper Cooperation With Enugu FA

The management of Rangers International F.C ably led by Barrister Amobi Ezeaku, during a courtesy call on the leadership of Enugu State Football Association under the headship of Barrister Tony Ugwu has sought a deeper cooperation between both bodies for the development of football in the state.

Ezeaku, who led officials of the ‘Flying Antelopes’ on the courtesy call, on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at the Football House, Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu, while commiserating with the F. A chairman over the death of his mother also used the occasion to officially inform the F. A boss that there was a new management in place at the club led by him.

Speaking at the brief event, the Rangers C.E.O, said, “Chairman and Secretary of Enugu F.A, we are here to officially inform you that there is a new management in place at Rangers International F.C, just as we officially commiserate with you over the death of your beloved mother and also to foster deeper co-operation between Rangers and the F.A. We thank you for receiving us even on a very short notice. We wish to partner with F.A., and share ideas on the best way to achieve our goals because, when Rangers is winning, the F. A is progressing and when the F. A is progressing, Rangers is progressing too.”

In his reaction, the Enugu F.A boss congratulated the new CEO of Rangers on his appointment and the seamless take-off of activities that has seen the club making some landmark achievements in the period just as he officially invited the club for his mother’s burial while promising to co-operate with the club for football development in Enugu state, stressing, “Let me congratulate you on your appointment as the CEO of our top club, Rangers.

The F.A. is always ready to cooperate with your team, partner you in areas that will bring development to the game of football in the state, and will always be available to share ideas that will see us celebrate football in the state.”

On the ground during the visit was the Enugu F.A Secretary, Francis Ugwu while the Administrative Secretary of Rangers, Barrister Ferdinand Ugwuarua; Coordinator Rangers, Emeka Ike; Kits Manager, Christopher Okafor; Surveillance Officer Rangers, Obiora Onyeama and others joined the CEO on the visit.

A highlight of the visit was the presentation of the club’s jersey to the F.A Chairman by the CEO of Rangers.
