Ranchers Bees Set for Abuja Friendlies Ahead Of New NNL Season

Kaduna-based Nigeria National League (NNL) side, Ranchers Bees, has lined up two high-profile pre-season friendly matches in Abuja as part of preparations for the 2025/26 campaign.

The team will face EFCC FC on October 4 and City FC Abuja on October 5, fixtures designed to fine-tune tactics and build cohesion ahead of their league opener against Gombe United in November.

Backed by Super Eagles striker Sadiq Umar and Federal lawmaker Bello El-Rufai, Ranchers Bees have been given strong support to ensure a smooth transition into the new season. Club officials say both figures are committed to providing resources that will enable the team to compete effectively in the NNL.

Umar, who has spent over a decade playing in Europe with stints in Croatia, Italy, Holland, Serbia, and Spain, brings international experience and professionalism that the club hopes to instill in its players.

Fans in Kaduna State and beyond are expected to see an ambitious Ranchers Bees side this season, with the team aiming to make a strong impression in Nigeria’s second-tier league.
