Ramat Cup Football Tournament: Organising Committee Gives Kudos to Nigerian Youths For Exemplary Conduct

The Main Organising Committee of the Just concluded Ramat Cup Football Tournament has showered praises on the visiting teams, the players, and their coaches as well as their fans for their exemplary conduct and show of sportsmanship throughout the duration of the much-advertised International Youth Football Tournament.

The organizers, The Youth Sports Federation Of Nigeria YSFON also poured encomiums and appreciated the Kano state Governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for his sponsorship gesture and untiring love for Nigerian Youths.

President of YSFON and Deputy Governor of Kano State, Dr. Nasiru Gawuna particularly expressed his heartfelt appreciation to everyone who made the event a success.

At a meeting before departure, the President thanked the Youths and assured the different teams of YSFON’S Continued Support in their quest for a favorable future.

The committee commended the various team officials and coaches for sticking to the tournament rules by presenting real under -16 players who gave their all during the nine-day tournament.

With professional and unbiased officiating from Kano referees, the Youths were in high spirits and gave a good account of themselves From Mahaha Sports complex to the pillars Stadium In Sabon Gari, the pleasant story was the same and the best truly emerged. Particular mention must be made of the Rivers team, Kano Bauchi, Ekiti, Lagos Ogun, and Champions Kwara State amongst others

Despite the fear of Insecurity and the covid-19 pandemic Nigerian Youths braced the odds, visited Kano, and added colors to the Ramat Cup International Football Tournament

The Main Organising Committee then revealed that plans were underway to add more competitions to its calendar in its bid to keep the Youths positively engaged. One of such competitions is the Nasiru Gawuna under 17 athletics meet coming up in Uyo the Akwa Ibom State capital in May 2021

The Kano tournament has given YSFON the necessary impetus to bring excellence to the doorsteps of the fans and help the talented Youths live a responsible life

The entire body then concluded that it is looking forward to working with other renowned sporting bodies as well as Government agencies with a view to harnessing the greatness inherent in the future of Nigerian Youths
