Ram Lovers Association Governor’s Cup final: “We expected a crowd like this,” Adeyemi Adewale says after thousands flock in to National Stadium Surulere

The 2021 edition of the Lagos State Ram Lovers Association of Nigeria Governor’s Cup came to a conclusion on Sunday, September 5.

Thousands were in attendance to witness at the Legacy Pitch National Stadium, Suru-Lere, where cash prizes and home appliances were won by the competitors.

Also in attendance was Engr. Adeyemi Adewale, the president of the Ram Entertainers Association of Nigeria.

When interviewed by Sports247, Adewale said he wasn’t surprised with the number of people present to witness the occasion.

“This is an an annual competition. We always get large crowds when we get to the final stage. We have different people coming from different areas.

“We have people from the whole local governments present here. We have about thirty something local governments so you’d expect a crowd like this. Because right in Nigeria, Ram Sports is very appealing.”

When asked of what to expect from his own confederation, the Ram Entertainers Association, Adewale said. “We are starting our own competition by. December 26 this year. That is the Governors cup.”
