Prince Abayomi Ogunjimi Concedes How Tough The Year Has Been, Reveals Plans Of Giving To The Less Privileged As A Way To Bettering The Community

National President of Authentic Nigeria Football Supporters Club, Prince Abayomi Ogunjimi has conceded how 2022 has been tough generally with a lot going on economical wise but admits that there are positivity to take as the club plans to give back to the less privileged in bid to bettering the community.

Abayomi further admitted how Nigeria missing out of the just concluded Qatar 2022 World Cup altered their plans but not so much to dwell on.

“What we do is sports and that’s what has united us in this country. We didn’t partake in the World Cup in Qatar and that’s a huge step back for us, as giant of Africa, we could have been there but it’s so unfortunate that we didn’t make it.”

“It’s not easy, we have a lot of arrangements down before the World Cup and we had to forfeit them all but that isn’t the end. Now, we go back to our routine of giving back to the community every year, the windows,” Abayomi further explained.

“Our program as usual like last year, we have been doing this for five years. Last year and previous years, we go to the motherless baby homes, played a match with Swan selected and after the game we give gifts to amputees and reach out to the less privileged.”

“It is our norm, we will give back to the special people in our secretariat again tomorrow and then proceed to the motherless baby homes before the final on our own end which is our end of the year party scheduled for 27th of December.”

“Tomorrow is for giving out to the windows above sixties, just what we can so that they can celebrate Christmas, that’s what we are set to do, reaching out to people as we keep on cheering our national team to victory,” he concluded.
