Sacramento Kings of USA basketball star, Precious Achiuwa emerged among the highlights in a stunning victory for his side over New York Knicks, who featured Ogugua ‘OG’ Anunoby in their squad.

Sports247 reports that Achiuwa turned out to be the happier of both Nigerian-born players on the court, as his side won the National Basketball Association (NBA) game 112-101.
Achiuwa also gained from a freak injury that befell one of Anunoby’s teammates, as Knicks’ point guard, Jalen Brunson left the game early in the first quarter after spraining his right ankle.
Brunson dribbled into the frontcourt, after taking a screen from Josh Hart, but fell to the court and threw the ball away, leading to a steal and fast-break dunk by Achiuwa, who happens to be a former Knicks teammate.
While Achiuwa would later on celebrate the night’s victory with Sacramento, it was gloom for Anunoby and The Knicks, as Brunson moved gingerly before asking to be replaced with 7:01 to go in the opening quarter.
With Brunson unavailable, New York’s offense ambled against Achiuwa’s side, as The Knicks shot just 39% from the floor and 8-for-41 (19.5%) from 3-point range in their fourth-least-efficient offensive performance of the season.
Sports247 gathered further that, in Brunson’s previous absence last season, the team from New York went 9-6, with Karl-Anthony Towns, Mikal Bridges and Anunoby all averaging more than 20 points per game.
