New Nottingham Forest manager Ange Postecoglou has provided updates on Super Eagles defender Ola Aina Injury and confirmed him a major doubt ahead of their Premier League clash against Arsenal on Saturday afternoon at the Emirates Stadium.
Ange Postecoglou provided the update during his first pre-match press conference on Thursday, confirming that Aina is the only injury concern in his squad.

The defender was forced off just 10 minutes into Nigeria’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against South Africa on Tuesday.
The player did not train with the Forest squad on Thursday as he is expected to undergo further medical tests to determine the severity of the problem.
“We have a clean bill of health apart from Aina,” Postecoglou told BBC. “He had a problem with the national team. The rest of the boys are fine. Zinchenko is the only one who isn’t fine.”
The injury leaves Forest short of defensive options on the left, with new signing Oleksandr Zinchenko unavailable due to Premier League regulations preventing him from facing his parent club.
This could force Postecoglou into an early reshuffle, with Nico Williams an option at right-back and youngster Nicolo Savona potentially filling in on the left.
Aina has been an ever-present for Forest this season, playing every minute in matches against Brentford, Crystal Palace, and West Ham.
Last season, he featured 35 times in the league, scoring twice as Forest secured European qualification.
Saturday’s fixture will also mark Postecoglou’s first competitive game in charge of Nottingham Forest following his appointment as Nuno Espírito Santo’s successor.
The Australian tactician guided Tottenham Hotspur to the Europa League title last season before parting ways after a disappointing domestic campaign.
