Nigerian defender Adebisi Olamikun has taken a significant step in his career after completing a transfer from Inter Lagos FC to Portuguese top-flight club Sporting Braga.
The highly-rated centre-back has officially joined the Primeira Liga outfit, where he will continue his development with one of Portugal’s most respected clubs, renowned for nurturing young talent and competing regularly in European competitions.

Sporting Braga, popularly known as Os Guerreiros do Minho (The Warriors of Minho), have established themselves as one of Portugal’s strongest clubs, consistently challenging for domestic honours and qualifying for UEFA club competitions.
The transfer was facilitated through the collaborative efforts of Propeak Agency and Inner Management, who played key roles in securing the deal for the young Nigerian.
Olamikun now joins a growing list of Nigerian footballers making the transition from the domestic league to Europe, reflecting the increasing recognition of the talent emerging from clubs in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) and the country’s football academies.
