Stationery Stores forward, Ifeanyi Anthony Ihemekwele has expressed his excitement on being part of the “Flaming Flamingoes” set-up after a breakthrough season from grassroot football.
The lethal goal scorer shared in an exclusive chat with Sports247.ng: “My previous setting is a youth system where youth players are being trained, groomed and shown the way to the top, Stationery Stores is my first professional league club”.
“Am happy to start my career with such a big team with rich history, It is a greet feeling, the relationship with the players, officials, management not forgetting the fans has been such a great adventurism. It’s a great experience and am super proud to be part of this club.”
Ifeanyi also explained that the club legends comes around once in a while to motivate the players, ” a rare opportunity to be backed and applaued by those who have played the game before you with so much respect and love, I have no plans to slow down, am fighting to be part of this team history, am pushing really hard”.
