Chairman of Buruj Football Club of Ikorodu, Waheed has tasked his players to play good football when they confront Spartan Football Club of Agege in the third round of Winners Golden Bet Lagos State FA Cup.
The much anticipated match would hold by 3pm today at the Rehabilitation center,Isheri, Ojodu Berger.
Speaking ahead of of today’s encounter, Waheed said he expects tough match from their opponents but remained optimistic that his boys would come out victorious against all odds.
“We are aware of the challenge ahead of us and I have told my players to play good football in order to get good result.Our experience in NLO league would help us to play better so I wish my boys and coaching crew all the best,”he said.
Waheed said it would be a huge disappoinment if his team crash out in early stage of the competition saying that his target is to go far in the tournament.
Meanwhile action resumes today in some centres as TCC face B Angels by 3pm at the Alade stadium, Ipaja Command,Smarty City Feeders battle First Bank by 1pm at the Rehabilitation center, Isheri, Ojodu Berger.
ODIC face Leon by 9am at the Alade stadium.Dannaz tackle Be Platinum by 1pm at the Alade stadium.
May FC would welcome Glory Boys by 11am at the Rehabilitation center, Isheri, Ojodu Berger,while Vinning United face Magate by 11am at the Alade stadium.
