Nigerian ex-international Ike Shorunmu has been appointed as the new goalkeeper Trainer of Super Eagles of Nigeria, taking over from long-server Alloy Agu.
In a statement released by the Nigeria Football Federation Communications Department, the NFF released the names of the newly appointed coaches for the entire male football rank and former goalkeeper Peter Rufai show confidence in his colleague.
“A good future is here for our goalkeepers with the safe hand Ike Shorunmu,” he posted on his Instagram page (@peter_rufai).
He further urged his colleague on congratulating him on the new journey and wishing him the best.
