Young left-back Peter Chucks, currently developing his game at Okaka Football Academy in Lagos, has revealed that his ultimate dream is to play at the highest level of European football — a goal inspired by his football idol, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Despite playing in defense, Peter says it’s Ronaldo’s mentality, work ethic, and journey that continue to shape how he approaches his own career.
“Cristiano Ronaldo is more than just a footballer to me,” Peter said. “He’s the reason I believe that with hard work and focus, I can go from Lagos to the world.”
The talented full-back has been gaining attention for his pace, calmness on the ball, and strong positioning.
While he knows there’s still a long road ahead, he credits Okaka Football Academy for giving him the platform and structure to grow both as a player and a person.
“This academy has really helped me,” he said. “The coaches push us every day and treat us like professionals. I’ve improved a lot here.”
At just 17, Peter Chucks is focused, disciplined, and full of ambition. He continues to train daily with the belief that his opportunity will come — and when it does, he’ll be ready.
