He said, “We are aware that you are going to participate in the National Handball qualification event in Benin City, Edo State.

“We want to encourage you and wish you well as you head to the event.

“The Governor has graciously approved and released funds meant for this competition in order to boost your morale throughout the event. So, you are going into this competition without any backlog or hiccups, but with all your entitlements intact.

“To whom much is given, much is also expected. Seize this opportunity to write your names in gold.

“We are hopeful you won’t disappoint us. So, go and make the Governor, Nasarawa State and the entire citizens proud there.

“You are ambassadors of the State, never hesitate to inform us should you encounter any problems in the course of the Competition.

“May God be with you, both to event and back home, and it’s our earnest prayer that we qualify into the crucial segment of the Competition.”

Technical Adviser of the State’s Handball Team, Coach Musa Oji Sabo, who spoke on behalf of the departing delegation, assured the Governor, the Permanent Secretary and the good people of the State of their readiness to justify the confidence reposed in them by winning the league.

He thanked Governor Abdullahi Sule for providing funds to the Team to participate in the Competition.
