The towering forward struck in the 51st minute, calmly finishing from a well-delivered assist by Oleksandr Zubkov to hand his side all three points.
The goal marked Onuachu’s 21st league goal of the season, extending his incredible scoring streak to 10 consecutive matches. Across all competitions, the Nigerian forward has now scored 23 goals this season for Trabzonspor.
The victory also strengthens Trabzonspor’s position in the title race, as they move level on 57 points with second-placed Fenerbahçe S.K. after 26 matches.
Onuachu is now six goals away from breaking the single-season Süper Lig scoring record for an African, currently held by fellow Nigerian Victor Osimhen from last season.
With his consistency, aerial dominance, and clinical finishing, the 31-year-old striker continues to play a vital role in Trabzonspor’s push near the summit of the Turkish league standings.
