He disclosed further that, although it costs each player N2,500 for every training session they attend at the arena, which is popularly known as ‘Islamic Field,’ none of them ever complains about the task.

Coach Miles, who was a utility player during his active days – in which he featured as a left-back, central defender, and defensive midfielder – added that the players always listen to his instructions.

“I am proud of my boys. They are very committed, very determined and always obedient. They don’t complain about anything and they always play to my instructions.

“Ever since I started this club in 2010, I don’t have a sponsor but it’s not showing, because these boys always pay any amount that is needed by the team,” Coach Miles disclosed.

He further gave them a pat of the back for their victory on Sunday at Anglican Primary School, Akesan, as they defeated Don Vee FC 2-0 in an amazing show of resilience and strength.

Although their regular captain and foreign star from Ghana, Darko Benjamin was not available for the match, his assistant, Adewale King led the squad to victory on the opening day of the competition.
