Over 3000 Girls Joined Oshoala She Project, A Program Empowering Young Girls In Lagos

The Asisat Oshoala She Project recently brought excitement and empowerment to young
girls across various parts of Lagos. Over the course of the past year, more than 3,000 girls participated in the program, which was held in Agege, Isolo, Ajegunle, and Mushin.

Although Asisat Oshoala, the renowned Barcelona Femeni star, was unable to attend due to her club engagements, her dedicated team was present to organize the project.

Despite her absence, Oshoala expressed her happiness with the tremendous turnout.
The Oshoala Academy has established itself as a prominent institution in Nigerian football,
consistently making a positive impact on the lives of young girls in the country through sports and education.

The SHE Project embodies a comprehensive approach, combining sports, humanitarian, and educational interventions to benefit the targeted communities.

The most recent edition of the SHE Project, held in Mushin, witnessed the participation of
hundreds of girls, accompanied by women from the local communities. This edition is not the final one, as the Asisat Oshoala Academy plans to commence further editions of the SHE Project during the next session.

In Agege, the inaugural edition saw the involvement of over 500 girls. In Isolo, more than
1,000 girls enthusiastically took part, while in Ajegunle, hundreds of girls participated.
As a result, the total number of girls who have benefited from the SHE Project, sponsored by Nike, the world’s leading sports wear and kits manufacturing company, has now reached or surpassed 3,000.

Asisat Oshoala conveyed her gratitude, stating, “I am truly elated that girls from various
cities and communities actively participated in the project despite my absence. It is truly
awesome.

I would like to express my appreciation to our sponsors, Nike and Women Win. They have
been amazing, and I pray that God continues to bless them all.”
