Ottasolo U15 Football Tournament: Nada Hold Off Spirited Young Lions, Three Others Seal Semi-Final Tickets

The quarter-final action of the Ottasolo U15 Football Tournament took place at Idowu Fadeyi Field over the weekend.

In the first quarter-final, B United sent Exodus Academy to the cleaners with a 3-0 victory.

United hit the ground running and surged into a 3-0 win with a brace from Afolabi Kehinde. Exciting forward Akeem Omiyitan also found the back of the net for United.

Next up was the showdown between Alade Academy and the Royal Academy. It proved to be a one-sided affair with Alade running riot 4-1.

Oluwatobi Oyinloye netted a hat-trick for the Alade team. Ultimately though it was job done and they were through to the next round.

S Nada, meanwhile, also made hard work of securing a 1-0 victory over Young Lions.

Wahab Malik coolly slotted home the solitary goal.

The quarter-final action was concluded when Goro FA and Marvellous FA drew 1-1 at full time. Ismaila Azeez saw his screamer canceled out by Marvellous’ forward Benjamin Kazeem.

In the first penalty shootouts of the competition, Goro won 7-6.

That set up the Goro side for a semi-final showdown with S Nada, while Alade Academy and B United meet in a tantalizing match-up.
