Chairman, Osun United FC, Akin Maxwell Makinde has expressed excitement over the victory of his side against Ikorodu City FC of Lagos.
Osun United FC defeated Ikorodu City FC 1-0 in Ilorin on Saturday at the Kwara State Stadium Complex.
The encounter is the week 14 Conference B match.
After the match, the administrator said he was very happy with Ilorin fans with the support he got from them.
“Ilorin is my second home, I am always happy and I feel at home whenever I visit Ilorin.
“We appreciate all our fans and supporters who drove all the way from Osogbo, Ogbomoso to Ilorin to cheer us to victory. Despite the ongoing fast and hardship situation in the country, they still find their way here to support their darling team, I say thank you all.
